Lithornis celetius
Taxonomy
Lithornis celetius was named by Houde (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 290601, a partial skeleton (Partial skull, pelvis, femur, radials and caudals), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bangtail, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
