Lithornis plebius
Taxonomy
Lithornis plebius was named by Houde (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 336534, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lithornis promiscuus and plebius types, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.
