Gingerichia geoteretes
Taxonomy
Gingerichia geoteretes was named by Zack et al. (2005). Its type specimen is UM 83932, a mandible (Left dentary with p4m1–3 and alveoli for p2–3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Douglass Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in Montana. It is the type species of Gingerichia.
