Derorhynchus singularis
Taxonomy
Derorhynchus singularis was named by Paula Couto (1952). Its type specimen is MNRJ 1348-V, a mandible (Incomplete right mandibular ramus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Derorhynchus.
