Lamegoia conodonta
Taxonomy
Lamegoia conodonta was named by Paula Couto (1952). Its type specimen is MNRJ 1463-V, a tooth (Left m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Lamegoia.
