Taxonomy
Nuculana (Jupiteria) asiatica was named by Kurushin (1985). Its type specimen is IGiG 753/514 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsvetkov Cape, outcrop 1, layer 18, eastern Taimyr, which is in a Spathian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
