Megadesmus ovalis

Taxonomy
Pachydomus ovalis was named by Sowerby (1847). Its type specimen is BMNH PL 3689 and is a mold. Its type locality is Wollongong (W.B. Clarke coll), which is in a Wordian marine sandstone in the Gerringong Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Megadesmus ovalis by Runnegar (1967).
