Bothrothyris curiosa

Taxonomy
Bothrothyris curiosa was named by Cooper (1983). Its type specimen is USNM 551007, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gebel Maghara, which is in a Callovian marine horizon in Egypt. It is the type species of Bothrothyris.
