Taxonomy
Glyphisaria uniplicata was named by Cooper (1983). Its type specimen is USNM 551085, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bourges, Cher, which is in an Oxfordian marine horizon in France. It is the type species of Glyphisaria.
