Notosia chiliensis

Taxonomy
Notosia chiliensis was named by Cooper (1983). Its type specimen is USNM 551049a, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 4 miles ENE of Smithsonian Montezuma Observatory, Calama, which is in a Jurassic marine horizon in Chile. It is the type species of Notosia.
