Plectoconcha aequiplicata

Taxonomy
Rhynchonella aequiplicata was named by Gabb (1864). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cinnabar District, range east of Humboldt Mountains, which is in a Lacian carbonate limestone in the Dun Glen Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Plectoconcha.

It was recombined as Plectoconcha aequiplicata by Cooper (1983) and Sandy and Stanley (1993).
