Taxonomy
Taimyrothyris humilis was named by Dagys (1968). Its type specimen is IGiG 28/78 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boyarka River, Khatanga region (upper Berriasian), which is in a Berriasian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
