Taxonomy
Siberiothyris gibberosus was named by Dagys (1968). Its type specimen is IGiG 85/78 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boyarka River, Khatanga region (lower Hauterivian), which is in a Hauterivian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
