Taxonomy
Septa landaui was named by Beu (2010). Its type specimen is NMB H 17955, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMB Loc. 19005 - Río Gurabo [Gurabo Fm], which is in a Messinian/Zanclean marine siliciclastic in the Gurabo Formation of the Dominican Republic.
