Kestrosaurus dreyeri

Taxonomy
Kestrosaurus dreyeri was named by Haughton (1925). Its type specimen is SAM-PK-3452, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Farm Harmonia, Senekal, which is in a Spathian terrestrial sandstone in the Burgersdorp Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Kestrosaurus.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Damiani (2001) and Damiani and Rubidge (2003).
