Latirhinus uitstlani
Taxonomy
Latirhinus uitstlani was named by Prieto-Márquez and Serrano Brañas (2012). Its type specimen is IGM 6583, a partial skeleton (a fragmentary skeleton including partial right nasal, 10 dorsal and 14 caudal vertebrae, right coracoid, left scapula, both humeri and ulnae, right metacarpals ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ejido Presa de San Antonio (Coah 14), which is in a Campanian terrestrial mudstone in the Cerro del Pueblo Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Latirhinus.
