It was recombined as Worthenia joannisaustriae by Kittl (1891), Kittl (1899); it was recombined as Glabrocingulum (Ananias) joannisaustriae by Yin and Yochelson (1983); it was recombined as Ananias johannisaustriae by Tong and Erwin (2001); it was recombined as Rinaldoella johannisaustriae by Bandel (2009).
