Thylacotinga bartholomaii
Taxonomy
Thylacotinga bartholomaii was named by Archer et al. (1993). Its type specimen is QMF 16835, a tooth (LM2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tingamarra Local Fauna - Boat Mountain deposit, which is in a Ypresian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in Australia. It is the type species of Thylacotinga.
