Ambulocapsa sentosa was named by Robins et al. (2013). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ernstbrunn quarries, which is in a Tithonian/Tithonian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Ernstbrunn Formation of Austria.
