Agkistracanthus mitgelensis
Taxonomy
Agkistracanthus mitgelensis was named by Duffin and Furrer (1981). Its type specimen is A/I 858 (dorsal fin spine) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Piz Son Mitgel, Kanton Graubünden, which is in a Rhaetian marine limestone in the Kössen Formation of Switzerland.
