Taxonomy
Crepidacantha was named by Levinsen (1909) [Sepkoski's age data: K u R]. It is extant. It is the type genus of Crepidacanthidae.

It was assigned to Crepidacanthidae by Brown (1952), Bassler (1953); and to Cheilostomata by Sepkoski (2002).
