Cyclocolposa was named by Canu and Bassler (1923) [Sepkoski's age data: T Mi Q Plei]. It is extant.
It was assigned to Cyclicoporidae by Bassler (1953); to Cheilostomata by Sepkoski (2002); and to Bryocryptellidae by Bock (2006).
