Metoposaurus ultimus
Taxonomy
Metoposaurus ultimus was named by Kuhn (1939). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Baerecke-Limpricht clay pit, Halberstadt (bed 16), which is in a Rhaetian floodplain sandstone in the Trossingen Formation of Germany.
