Huananius youngi
Taxonomy
Huananius youngi was named by Huang and Zheng (1999). Its type specimen is IVPP V11700, a partial skull (Fragmentary right upper jaw and partial right lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zengdeao Village, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Shanghu Formation of China. It is the type species of Huananius.
