Yunnancoelacanthus acrotuberculatus
Taxonomy
Yunnancoelacanthus acrotuberculatus was named by Wen et al. (2013). Its type specimen is LPV-12748, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dawazi, Luoping County (Chengdu Institute LPI/LPV coll), which is in a Pelsonian carbonate lime mudstone in the Guanling Formation of China. It is the type species of Yunnancoelacanthus.
