Taxonomy
Liuzhinia venninae was named by Forel (2013). Its type specimen is UPMC P6M2842, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bálvany North 08BAN63, which is in a Griesbachian carbonate limestone in the Gerennavar Formation of Hungary.
