Bachmannia chubutensis
Taxonomy
Bachmannia chubutensis was named by Dolgopol (1941). Its type specimen is MLP 40-V-17–1 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Laguna del Hunco, which is in an Eocene crater lake mudstone/sandstone in the Laguna del Hunco Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Bachmannia.
