Taxonomy
Senoprosopis (Eosenoprosopis) romeri was named by Hull (1957). Its type specimen is MCZ 5125, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (MCZ Collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Senoprosopis (Eosenoprosopis).
