Euclastes meridionalis
Taxonomy
Pampaemys meriodionalis was named by de la Fuente and Casadio (2000). Its type specimen is GHUNLPam 19137, a partial skull (Posteromedial skull fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cerros Bayos, which is in a Danian deep subtidal ramp marl in the Roca Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Pampaemys.
It was recombined as Euclastes meridionalis by de la Fuente et al. (2009).
