Cyclostigma aegyptiacum was named by Doweld (2001) [Incorrectly spelled by Jongmans and Koopmans as 'aegyptiaca'; corrected by Doweld, l.c. 109. 2001.]. It is not extant.

It was recombined as Jurinodendron aegyptiacum by Doweld (2001).
