Taxonomy

Thadiqithyris thadiqiensis was named by Nazer (1973). It is not extant. It is the type species of Thadiqithyris.

Synonyms

Pleuraloma convexum was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Zilfi, S154, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Tuwaiq Mountain Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was recombined as Plectoidothyris convexum by Williams et al. (2006); it was synonymized subjectively with Thadiqithyris thadiqiensis by Alméras et al. (2010).
Pleuraloma robustum was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Al Qarainan, S1715, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Tuwaiq Mountain Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was recombined as Plectoidothyris robustum by Williams et al. (2006); it was synonymized subjectively with Thadiqithyris thadiqiensis by Alméras et al. (2010).
Pleuraloma triangulatum was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Khashm Hayal, S1702, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Tuwaiq Mountain Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was recombined as Plectoidothyris triangulatum by Williams et al. (2006); it was synonymized subjectively with Thadiqithyris thadiqiensis by Alméras et al. (2010).
