Maruchito trilofodonte
Taxonomy
Maruchito trilofodonte was named by Vucetich et al. (1993). Its type specimen is MLP 91-IV-1-22, a mandible (left mandibular fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cañadon del Tordillo, which is in a Colloncuran terrestrial tuff in the Collón Cura Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Maruchito.
