Taxonomy
Palpebralina ocellifer was named by Feist and McNamara (2013). Its type specimen is WAM 11.123, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 05. Windy Knolls, Bugle Gap, 1 km south of Waggon Pass, which is in a Frasnian perireef or subreef limestone in the Virgin Hills Formation of Australia.
