Cavellina hashimotoi
Taxonomy
Cavellina hashimotoi was named by Tanaka and Maeda (2013). Its type specimen is MPC-03177, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kinshozan Mountain fissure, Akasaka, which is in a Capitanian carbonate mudstone in the Akasaka Formation of Japan.
