Patagosmilus goini
Taxonomy
Patagosmilus goini was named by Forasiepi and Carlini (2010). Its type specimen is MLP 07-VII-1-1,, a partial skull (most of the left side of the skull with upper dentition, right magnum, and proximal portion of ungual phalanx.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rio Chico - RCH 018S, which is in a Colloncuran terrestrial horizon in the Collón Curá Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Patagosmilus.
