Microcardiodon williensis
Taxonomy
Microcardiodon williensis was named by Pérez and Vucetich (2011). Its type specimen is MPEF-PV 3500, a mandible (of left hemi-mandible with p4-m3.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Petiso, which is in a Langhian terrestrial tuff in Argentina. It is the type species of Microcardiodon.
