Baculatisporites turbioensis was named by Archangelsky (1972) [Others samples: p.m. 739, coord. 29.8/121.8.
Others measurement: equatorial diameter, 40-65 µ.
7 specimens.
Locality. Wells D-14, C-2.]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype: p.m. 745, coord. 46.7/103.6. Stored at Museo de La Plata, Paleobotanical division., a microspore (Spore), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Pozo D-14, which is in an Eocene coastal horizon in the Río Turbio Formation of Argentina.

S. Archangelsky 1972 | Espora trilete globosa, de contorno ecuatorial subcircular. Lesuras llegando cerca del ecuador, con fuertes labios levantados
que llevan un ornamento de verrugas y báculas de tamaños muy variados. Exina esculturada, proximal y distalmente con báculas, desde delicadas hasta muy robustas, con ápices por lo común truncados, a veces redondeados. Algunos elemenyos son verrugosos. La distribución de los elementos esculturales densa, pero su tamaño es variable, la exina es delicada, aproximadamente de 1 µ de espesor. |
