Taxonomy
Cardinia gleimi was named by Smith (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North Fork of Sulanharas Creek, 3 miles north of Kelly's ranch, which is in a Tuvalian carbonate limestone in the Hosselkus Formation of California.
