Eocomatula decagonalis
Taxonomy
Eocomatula decagonalis was named by Simms (1994). Its type specimen is UMIP 21581, a set of stem ossicles (two articulated nodal columnals), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 84-SH-18, Shalypayco, which is in a Norian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Chambara Formation of Peru.
