Sontiochelys cretacea

Originally preserved in the Museum of Görz, today lost. A cast of the holotype is in the permanent collection of Museo Civico di Storia naturale di Trieste
Taxonomy
Sontiochelys cretacea was named by Stache (1905). Its type specimen is Lost and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mrzlek (Gorica Museum collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Slovenia. It is the type species of Sontiochelys.
