Wakinoichthys aokii
Taxonomy
Wakinoichthys aokii was named by Yabumoto (1994). Its type specimen is KMNH VP 100,140, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Fourth formation (W4, KA-0), which is in a Neocomian terrestrial sandstone/shale in the Third Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Wakinoichthys.
