Pachyrisma rimosum
Taxonomy
Isocardia rimosa was named by Münster (1841). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St. Cassian (Munster coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Pachyrisma rimosum by Laube (1865); it was recombined as Megalodus rimosus by Hoernes (1880); it was recombined as Megalodon rimosus by Bittner (1895); it was recombined as Megalodon rimosum by Arthaber (1915).
