Bathignathus poikilops
Taxonomy
Bathignathus poikilops was named by Damiani and Jeannot (2002). Its type specimen is BP/1/5790, a partial skull (Partial skull roof and part of the occiput), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Driefontein, which is in an Olenekian fluvial siliciclastic in the Burgersdorp Formation of South Africa.
