Komatosuchus chalyshevi
Taxonomy
Komatosuchus chalyshevi was named by Novikov and Shishkin (1992). Its type specimen is PIN 4370/2, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is PIN 4370, Hey Yaga River, which is in an Olenekian terrestrial sandstone in the Nyadeytinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Komatosuchus.
