Taxonomy
Gonyleptes nemastomoides was named by Koch and Berendt (1854). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
It was recombined as Proholoscotolemon nemastomoides by Ubick and Dunlop (2005), Dunlop et al. (2013) and Bartel and Dunlop (2019).
