Qianshanornis rapax
Taxonomy
Qianshanornis rapax was named by Mayr et al. (2013). Its type specimen is IBCAS QS027, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lijialaowu (70021), which is in a Paleocene floodplain sandstone in the Wanghudun Formation of China. It is the type species of Qianshanornis.
