Taxonomy
Teratodon enigmae was named by Savage (1965). Its type specimen is BMNH M. 19088, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Songhor (Main Site), which is in a Burdigalian terrestrial horizon in Kenya.
