Kronoscorpio danielsi
Taxonomy
Eoscorpius danielsi was named by Petrunkevitch (1913). Its type specimen is UMMP 7216 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (Daniels collection), which is in a Westphalian D interdistributary bay mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
It was recombined as Alloscorpius danielsi by Petrunkevitch (1949) and Petrunkevitch (1953); it was recombined as Kronoscorpio danielsi by Kjellesvig-Waering (1986) and Dunlop et al. (2013).
