Nemastomoides longipes
Taxonomy
Protopilio longipes was named by Petrunkevitch (1913). Its type specimen is YPM 171 and is an impression. Its type locality is Mazon Creek (YPM collection), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
It was recombined as Nemastomoides longipes by Petrunkevitch (1953) and Dunlop et al. (2013).
