Taxonomy
Pseudochthonius squamosus was named by Schawaller (1980). Its type specimen is SMNS Do-2651-W-1 and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (SMNS coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
